About Me!

I'm a 20 year old Norwegian computer nerd, hobby musician and professional speedrunner. Odds say you found me on Discord.

Music - Wombat Step

I have produced music on/off for 5 years now. I make my music using FL Studio, and I mainly produce within the genres EDM, Drum & Bass and Dubstep. I usually refer to my music as Experimental EDM. Other times I refer to it as Wombat Step, which is essentially just a mix of these.

I participated in my first music competition at The Gathering during Easter of 2023, where I managed to get 4th place out of 17 contestants with this song! The results can be viewed here!

Information Technology - Web expert

In terms of computers, I have extensive knowledge in both hardware and programming. I have moderate experience in building PCs, ranging from low budget server builds, to high level gaming PCs. My first PC build was in 2019, consisting of an i7-9700k, an RTX 2080, and 16gb of 3600mhz RAM from G.Skill.

As of October 2023, this website is running on a ~500$ server I built in 2021, with a Ryzen 5 3400G, and 16gb of 3200mhz RAM from Corsair.

When it comes to programming, I've had my fun in developing games in Unity3D . I've also made a few simple games in HTML and Javascript. I actually learned most of my programming logic through scripting small games on Roblox.

I also have 3 years of experience in Web Development. I started off with simple HTML and CSS, but quickly moved on to React.js, after realizing how intuitive it is for more advanced developers. I've also tampered with Vue.js, but didn't have a very good experience using it, after running into frequent issues regarding linting, as well as a generally unhelpful error stack.

Speedrunning - Getting Over It

As mentioned before, I do professional speedrunning. More specifically, I speedrun the infamous foddian game "Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy", with a personal best of 1 minute and 27 seconds. Don't believe me? Click here!

Previously I've also tried speedrunning games such as "Super Mario 64" and "Super Mario Sunshine", but I never invested enough time to complete a run, and if it's even remotely relevant, I've completed "Only Up!" in under an hour.

YouTube - What's an upload schedule?

I very occasionally make YouTube videos of various content types, most commonly being of the game "Valorant".

In 2018 I posted a video titled "Nestle Crunch Compilation". It gained 4.5M views before being taken down due to various reasons. This is why my channel has a ridiculous amount of subscribers in comparison to how many views I actually get.

My channel also got a strike due to that video, which has severely affected the algorithm. Fortunately I was able to complete a survey to remove the strike by the end of January 2024.
